Submissions

The deadline for submissions to the 2008 VIFF has passed. Entries for next year's festival can be submitted starting Feb 2009.

Films entered in the Festival should not have been publicly exhibited or broadcast in British Columbia before playing VIFF. This restriction is in keeping with Telefilm Canada's regulations governing Canadian film festivals with an attendance of more than 100,000.

International Submissions - deadline July 2, 2008

2008 Youth Film Submissions - deadline June 15, 2008
If you are 19 years old or younger, your film could be screened at the VIFF, in partnership with Reel Youth. The program is youth juried and will tour Canada and parts of the States. For more info and a submission form click here.
