Juried Awards 2011

Shaw Media Award  for Best Canadian Feature Film ($20,000 prize) -  Nuit #1, directed byAnne Émond (Canada/Québec)

Honourable Mention for Canadian Feature Film - Wetlands, directed by Guy Édoin (Canada/Québec)

Honourable Mention for exceptional performances in this year's nominated films:
  • For her outstanding performance in PASSIONFLOWER, Kristen Harris and
  • For their hilarious performance as a group, the ensemble cast of SUNFLOWER HOUR: Patrick Gilmore, Amitai Marmorstein, Ben Cotton and Kacey Rohl.

Dragons & Tigers Award for Young Cinema, presented by Brad Birarda & Robert Sali ($10,000 prize) - The Sun-Beaten Path, directed by Sonthar Gyal (China)

Most Promising Director of a Canadian Short Film Award ($2,000 prize) - We Ate the Children Last, directed by Andrew Cividino (Canada/Ontario)
