Bradley Goodman

Title: Post Production Supervisor, Elysium

Brad Goodman has more than twenty-five years of entertainment industry experience in post production and visual effects management. He has supervised post production for many of Hollywood’s most prolific filmmakers and has delivered productions to virtually every Hollywood studio as well as many international production and distribution entities.

Mr. Goodman began his career at Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment in the early 1980’s. From 1984 to 1992 he participated in the production or post production of the Amazing Stories Anthology Series, and the films Empire of the Sun, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Always, Innerspace, Dad, Noises Off, An American Tail, The Land Before Time, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade and the Back to the Future trilogy amongst others.

In 1992 Mr. Goodman became a freelance Post Production Supervisor. Over the next five years his credits included a remake of Attack of the 50’ Women, Death Becomes Her, The Hunted, Casino, The Long Kiss Goodnight and Twister. He joined the then newly formed DreamWorks in 1997 where he oversaw post production on the studio’s first feature film release, The Peacemaker, followed by the films Mousehunt, Deep Impact and Small Soldiers. Other credits after his tenure at DreamWorks include the films End of Days and Komodo.

After a stint in the dotcom world of the late 90’s, Mr. Goodman returned to freelance post production supervising and consulting in 2001. During the past eleven years he has worked on a wide variety of studio and independent films including Bubble Boy, The Good Girl, Far From Heaven, The Big Bounce, Hostage, Sacha Baron Cohen’s Borat and Brüno, Religulous, P2, In Time and the soon to be released remake of Red Dawn.

In addition to his work on bigger budget films, Mr. Goodman has been a supervisor or consultant on numerous smaller projects including the documentary The Last Days, winner of the 1998 Academy Award for Best Feature Documentary. Other consulting work includes Jim Whitaker’s 9/11 documentary Rebirth and Corman’s World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel, a documentary that looks at the career of Roger Corman, both of Miranda July’s films, The Future and Me and You and Everyone We Know, as well as Human Nature, Garden State, Goose!, Wrist Cutters: A Love Story, Lake Tahoe, Love N’ Dancing, Spin and Barry Munday.

Currently Mr. Goodman is working in Vancouver, overseeing Post Production on the film Elysium, which is the much-anticipated second film from District 9 Director Neill Blomkamp. Elysium will be released worldwide by Sony Pictures in March 2013.
