Jackie Asante

Though she hates to admit it, Jackie Asante has been practicing the fine art of Public Relations for well over 20 years in the Vancouver market. Over that time her career has run the gamut from in-house corp comm and public affairs to independent consulting to PR agency work. Jackie has led projects and supported clients ranging from telecom to biotech and from municipal government to unionized labour. But she started her career – and continues to have a soft spot in her heart – for the hard working and creative people in the Canadian arts and cultural sector. Jackie is currently a Vice President with Fleishman-Hillard in Vancouver – a global strategic communications firm with offices in 80 countries around the world.
