Joely Collins

Producer and award-winning actress, Joely Collins has been actively developing independent feature films and documentaries while pursuing her acting career for almost twenty years.At the young age of 22, she was named Canada’s "Best Leading Actress", earning a Gemini Award for her work in the critically acclaimed television series Madison. Joely was also honored with The Artistic Merit Award from Women in Film for her starring role as the infamous Gillian Guess in Bruce McDonald’s feature film, The Love Crimes of Gillian Guess.

With the desire to tell her own stories, Joely founded Wunderkind Productions, where she produced, wrote, directed and starred in the feature length documentary called, Summer Love: The Documentary. She also executive produced and starred in the romantic comedy Almost Heaven with Donal Logue.

Now Joely has proudly launched StoryLab Productions with partner Chad Willett and their first project together is the feature film, Becoming Redwood which will be released in 2012. With this new partnership Joely is excited to apply all her experience and passion towards telling more great stories!
