Shawn Angelski

Shawn Angelski has been working as a Producer and Production Manager for Music Video, Commercial, TV Series and Feature Films for the past 15 years in Vancouver. Shawn has worked with some of Canada’s biggest artists including Michael Buble, Hedley and Marianas Trench to name a few.

In 2005 Shawn created Twin Engine Films Ltd., to team up with talent and develop original content as well as provide production services for companies from Vancouver and all over the world to shoot in the lower Mainland. In 2010, Shawn/Twin Engine Films teamed up with The Vicious Brothers (Colin Minihan & Stuart Ortiz) to produce Grave Encounters.

In early 2011, Grave Encounters was acquired by Robert Deniro’s distribution company Tribeca Film, and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2011. Tribeca Film released Grave Encounters in August 2011 and it soon became their most successful title. The trailer for Grave Encounters has earned over 23 million views on Youtube and was the most viewed Indie movie trailer of 2011. The film has been distributed throughout the globe and continues to grow.

Shawn has recently completed Grave Encounters 2, which is being released by Tribeca Film Nationwide in the US on Oct. 2nd, 2012. His recent music videos won five awards at the 2012 Much Music Video awards including video of the Year for “Call me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, which has earned over 243 million views on Youtube and was the #1 Video throughout the world.
