Providing a quality viewing environment that puts films first, The Vancouver International Film Festival hosts many filmmakers, distributors, international film critics and special guests from around the world. Many of our guests host dynamic Q & A sessions following screenings.

Keep your eye out for our "Guest In Attendance" logo on our print ads, web site and e-newsletters. Also, we'll post the list of 2015 guests on this page once they are confirmed.

Dragons & Tigers Award For Young Cinema Jury

VIFF Guest & Industry Accreditation is offered to a select number of visiting film professionals, providing complimentary access to Festival screenings. We accept requests for accreditation from individuals and representatives of organizations who have a professional interest in attending the Festival. Guest accreditation is granted at the discretion of the Festival, and application is no guarantee of acceptance. Accreditation is granted to individuals and is non-transferable.

Key Dates for 2015

  • Tuesday, Aug 4  - Passes + Ticket Packs On Sale (online only)
  • Thursday, Sept. 3 (From Noon) - All Tickets On Sale Online   
  • Saturday, Sept. 12 (Mon-Sat: Noon - 7pm, Sun: 2pm - 9pm) - In-person Pre-Festival Sales at Vancity Theatre Box Office, 1181 Seymour St.
  • Thursday, Sept. 24 - All venue box offices open, 30 minutes before the first screening of the day at that venue.

The Vancouver International Film Festival grants complimentary accreditation, in the form of a media pass valid for all media and festival screenings EXCEPT galas and parties, to journalists who cover film on a regular basis for established media.
