DIVERSITY IN SPIRIT

For the second year, the Vancouver International Film Festival is pleased to present, with the support of the Ministry of Multiculturalism and Immigration, the annual Diversity in Spirit Award – to help further public awareness of anti-racism education. This award will be presented to the Festival film that best promotes the values of racial harmony. Either a fiction or documentary feature, it must further and support the ideals of inclusion and cross-cultural understanding enshrined in British Columbia’s Multiculturalism Act.

The five nominees are:

• JOURNEY FOR LOTUS 
   Eunhee Cha, Canada World Premiere

   John Gianvito, USA Canadian Premiere
