Dragons and Tigers: The Cinemas of East Asia
Premieres abound in the largest ongoing program of Pacific Asian films in the Americas.
Canadian Images
The largest showcase of Canadian feature films in the world; many docs & shorts also.
Nonfiction Features of 2001
A major 30-film focus celebrating recent innovations in the documentary form.
Cinema of Our Time
The festival’s largest program, presenting the best new cinema from around the world.
Spotlight on France
This annual side-bar celebrates the unique achievements of the best national cinema outside Hollywood.

THE TRADE FORUM
The 16th Annual Film and Television Trade Forum will bring together some of the world’s leading experts on film and television. It will run from September 26 to 28 with New Filmmakers’ Day taking place on September 29. Venue: Sheraton Wall Centre.

VENUES
Eight Vancouver theatres including: The Ridge; Tinseltown #9; The Pacific Cinematheque; The Vancouver Centre Cinemas I & II; The Hollywood; The Blinding Light; and, operating full days throughout the festival this year, The VISA Screening Room @ The Vogue Theatre.

PASSES
VIP Pass  $575 (includes Trade Forum); Express Pass  $500 (includes reserved seating); Full Series Discount Pass  $250; VISA Gold Pass  $210; Senior and Student Pass  $175; Daytime Pass  $125.

TICKETS
Adult  $8.50.
Seniors (65 and over)  $6.50.
Matinees  $6.50.
Opening, Anniversary & Closing Galas  $100 each.
VISA Gala Package  $60.
Advance Discount Tickets  $75 for ten tickets – save $1 per ticket. (Tickets must be ordered all ten at once in advance and cannot be refunded or exchanged, with a maximum of two tickets per screening).
