The VIFF AMP summit covers every angle of screen music, from composition to artist management to having your songs featured in film, TV, advertising, and gaming. Composers, music supervisors, managers, filmmakers, and students are given the opportunity to step up their film music game with pro tips, case studies, and networking opportunities through a program of masterclasses, Q&A’s, panel discussions, and music showcases.

Joining the VIFF AMP speaker line-up for 2021 are Grammy, Golden Globe, and Critics Choice Award-nominated producer, Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee, and film composer, Linda Perry, five-time Emmy Award-winning composer and founding member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers, Laura Karpman, plus Dan “The Automator” Nakamura, Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum, Dean "DC" Charles, Isabella Summers, Janine Scalise Boyd, Arbel Bedak, and more! View the full speaker line-up and program below.

In 2021, VIFF AMP speakers and delegates will gather at the VIFF Centre to explore topics including the finer points of scoring, the art of music supervision for theatrical trailers, taking your music from the stage to the screen, and how to adapt in the ever-changing landscape of the industry.

For those who can’t make it to the VIFF Centre, the summit sessions will be simulcast online, allowing audiences from around the world to tune in to hear the keynotes, panel discussions and music showcases and take part virtually in the conversation.
