Lost Head & the Bird
ALT | Modes
Evolving from photo essay to multi-platform installation, Hura’s poetic essay film examines facets of India’s unseen sexual, religious and political violence. Escalating to a raucous flurry of intimacy with its photographed subjects, Lost Head & the Bird meanders through the dark recesses of rural life for the people on the fringes. A word of caution to sensitive viewers, this film contains flashing lights that could trigger seizures.
