Communication is of critical importance to teens and plays a vital role in all the films in this shorts program. We communicate in many different ways, some a product of our modern age like social media and some as old as body language and facial expressions. Communication, like love, can bind us together and help us take on difficult challenges, though when heightened emotions or group dynamics get involved it’s easy to misinterpret subtle signals, or just become more aware of your own difference. Teenage years are times of discovery and failure, adventure and misadventure, bonding and heartbreak, confusion and self-reflection. But you can get through them! It all comes down to communication…
