Trivial objects which we rely on daily are wittingly repurposed to interact with wild and stray animals. Can we trust these objects or, as with the confused animals, are they distracting us from a deeper truth about ourselves? Would we even know we are being deceived by these things?

Michael Heindl (1988, Linz, Austria) lives and works in Vienna and Scharten. Heindl is interested in the possibilities of art in public space. The starting points of his works are often things and phenomena of everyday life. 2007 – 2014: study at the University for Applied Arts in Vienna; 2011 Erasmus Scholarship at NCAD in Dublin; Winner of the LENTOS Art prize 2016. Exhibitions in Austria and abroad (Viennale, Forum Stadtpark Graz, Salzburger Kunstverein, Kunsthalle Wien, PACT Zollverein, Essen, etc).
