Albert Shin is a Korean-Canadian filmmaker based out of Toronto, Canada. His film, In Her Place (2014), received seven Canadian Screen Award nominations, as well as the Jay Scott Prize for Emerging Artist by the Toronto Film Critics Association. His last feature, Disappearance at Clifton Hill (2019) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released by IFC Midnight and Elevation Pictures.
Albert co-founded the production company Timelapse Pictures with fellow filmmaker Igor Drljaca. Through Timelapase Pictures, he’s produced Krivina (2012), The Waiting Room (2015), The Stone Speakers (2018), and The White Fortress (2021), among others.
