Emmy Award-winning production designer Mark Friedberg has collaborated with some of our favorite directors, including Ang Lee (The Ice Storm), Todd Haynes (Far From Heaven), Wes Anderson (The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou), Barry Jenkins (If Beale Street Could Talk and The Underground Railroad), Ava DuVernay (Selma) and Todd Phillips (Joker), to name a few. Join us for what is sure to be a fascinating conversation, as Mark discusses creating some of his favorite cinematic worlds.

Nathalie is a Toronto-based film critic, a columnist for The Globe and Mail, and a contributor to Zoomer magazine. She has been a culture and film critic for more than a decade, and was previously an arts reporter, columnist, and award-winning editor at the National Post. Nathalie is a member of the Toronto Film Critics Association and the creator of Designing the Movies, an ongoing film lecture series that explores art direction, costume design, and production design as a lens for analysis.
