Frédéric Swierczynski is one of the best cave divers in the world. Sébastien Devrient, director, is also a mountain guide. The two friends set off to dive alone, without assistance, in the highest lake in the world, on the slopes of the Ojos del Salado volcano in Argentina. An ambitious bet for an expedition strewn with pitfalls in the Atacama Desert. This extreme sports doc doesn’t go quite where you might expect, but it’s a fascinating snapshot of a couple of adventurers exploring a deeply inhospitable part of the world, weighed down with diving gear, freezing cold in the high desert, and desperately searching for water.
