Farnaz Riahi joined VIFF Board in 2018 and has been Treasurer since 2019. She joined VIFF with over 18 years of experience in senior financial management roles in both the public and private sector and is currently VP Finance and Corporate Operations of Destination Vancouver.
Having lived in several countries, Farnaz found films and cinema early in life as a means to escape reality, travel beyond her reach, learn about peoples, stories and lives, and to connect with cultures and experiences that are otherwise not available in one lifetime.
In her spare time, she can be found cycling or skiing depending on the season.
