
Softrock is an immersive documentary by trail runner and filmmaker Jeff Pelletier, capturing the incredible beauty and storied history of the Hardrock 100 course. Known as one of North America’s most scenic and grueling 100-mile races, the Hardrock route winds through Colorado’s San Juan Mountains, challenging even the most seasoned ultrarunners. Joined by friends, Jeff tackled the course over four days, allowing them to explore its beauty and rich history by daylight—but with rugged terrain and relentless elevation the journey was anything but easy. Softrock offers a unique perspective on the Hardrock course, capturing the raw adventure, breathtaking landscapes, and intense endurance required to conquer these legendary trails.
