What to Expect: June 5-July 26
Granville Street Pedestrian Zone
- Beginning June 8, Granville Street between Georgia and Davie will be closed to vehicle traffic as part of the FIFA Fan Festival pedestrian zone
- Vehicles and buses will be rerouted to Howe and Seymour streets

Parking & Vehicle Access
Starting June 5, dedicated bus lanes will be in effect on Howe and Seymour streets.
- To accommodate these lanes, stopping and parking restrictions will be in place:
- Howe Street: west curb lane from Drake Street to Hastings Street
- Seymour Street: east curb lane from Drake Street to Hastings Street
- If you’re driving to the VIFF Centre, we recommend allowing a little extra time to find parking nearby
Transit Changes
- Dedicated bus lanes on Howe and Seymour streets will help keep transit moving during FIFA events
- Good news: there is a bus stop on Seymour Street directly across from the VIFF Centre

Lochmaddy Studio Theatre
This 41-seat theatre space offers film lovers an intimate setting to view an extended range of programming. The 17-ft screen, state-of-the-art projection and Dolby surround sound ensure a high-quality viewing experience.
Concession
Be sure to visit our concession to pick yourself up some popcorn, snacks and a drink. The VIFF Centre is licensed so patrons who are 19+ can enjoy our selection of local and international wines, beers and mixed drinks while watching a film.
