Co-Production Forum
The VIFF Co-Production Forum is designed for producers looking to build or expand international co-production relationships, with a focus on projects that demonstrate strong creative vision and international potential.
Taking place over two days during the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Forum will provide selected teams with a curated program of panels, case studies, one-on-one meetings, and networking opportunities with industry professionals actively seeking international projects.
Selected projects will be announced at the end of August.
Works-in-Progress
VIFF Works-in-Progress (WIP) is dedicated to supporting bold, compelling feature-length projects in the final stages of production, accelerating the completion and circulation of outstanding films by connecting them with the partners they need to reach audiences worldwide.
Selected filmmakers will present their projects through a live pitch and a rough-cut excerpt, followed by feedback sessions with invited experts.
Selected projects will be announced at the end of August.
VIFF Slate
VIFF Slate is designed to connect filmmakers with key industry decision makers and open pathways for projects to reach global audiences.
In its first year, VIFF will host a highly curated group of buyers and facilitate targeted introductions with filmmakers whose projects are selected to screen at the festival but are not yet represented. These encounters are designed to support the circulation of diverse, high-quality films, amplifying voices, and strengthening the pathways that bring stories to audiences worldwide.
