Vancouver Premiere
After the death of a friend two elderly nuns contemplate what the future holds, prompting them to embark on a journey of self discovery. A delightful two-handed comedy about old age and two memorable characters who may joke about, but never mock, their religion. Starting with a smart script, terrific performances from the two leads and fine cinematography, the film manages to respect the religious aspects of the story while keeping the viewer in stitches with hilarious deadpan humor. Though at first it seems the film is going to be about death it turns out to be more about life and getting the most out of it, even at an advanced age.
