Kara Ditte Hansen

Kara Ditte Hansen is a filmmaker and artist based between Vancouver (BC) and Milwaukee (WI). She is currently an MFA candidate in the Cinematic Arts program at University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee. Through sculpture, video, and film she probes fraught entanglements between people and their things. Each work presents a conflict that is made apparent in the way objects become external manifestations of internal struggles and unhelpful attachments.
