VIFF celebrates cinema with audiences beyond Vancouver.
VIFF Pop-Up delivers festival favourites to eager audiences in some of British Columbia’s most beloved independent cinemas. Through collaboration with the programming teams at community hubs, we curate unique film lineups that are tailor-made for their audiences. These VIFF Pop-Up events not only allow British Columbians to communally experience acclaimed work from Canadian, Indigenous, and international filmmakers, but also take part in Q&As and workshops that expand the understanding of cinema for both appreciators and aspiring practitioners.
