Escape is a poetic and intimate journey on the path of exile, through the story of five Syrian women artists scattered in different countries. From Paris to Oslo, from La Palma to Istanbul, the protagonists recount their broken story and their personal revolution, through their artistic practice.
About the Director
Katia Jarjoura is a Lebanese-Canadian filmmaker who directed several documentaries in the Middle-East for ARTE, and short fictions. Based in Paris, she also works as a script consultant and teacher in film workshops.
