Heroic Bodies explores various forms of Sudanese Women’s struggle and resistance, as they seek to take back their rights utilizing Body Politics in Political Resistance, the right to Education, pioneering initiatives in Public Health, and breaking social taboos, as well as embracing a Matriarchal Religion, the “Zar cult”.
