The MENA Film Festival Opening Ceremony is the celebrated kickoff of MENA 5! This much-sought afternoon begins with a reception in the VIFF Centre lobby accompanied by selected regional dishes, tea and schmoozing until we convene inside the Vancity Theatre for the Opening with an introduction from the MENA team; live music by local MENA/SWANA performers; honorary guest speakers; and capped off by the world premier of the 2023 MENA Canada Grant-winning film!
