This Month’s Film
The Little Prince is a heartwarming, visually stunning animated film that brings to life Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved story. This reimagined version follows a young girl whose structured, scheduled life is disrupted by her eccentric neighbor, an elderly aviator who introduces her to the world of the Little Prince. Through imagination and adventure, the film explores themes of friendship, love, loss, and the importance of seeing the world with a child’s heart. It’s a magical, poignant film that will resonate with both children and adults alike.
This Month’s Activities

Content Consideration: Rated G, recommended for ages 8+ due to some scary or sad scenes. In one scene, in order to return to his planet and his Rose, the Little Prince allows himself to be bitten by a snake, implying he died from the bite in order to go home. In fact he is alive, and the Little Girl saves him and helps him get home. On their way, they are briefly trapped by the villainous Businessman and his scary machines. The elderly Aviator tells the Little Girl about one day leaving on a journey alone, implying he will die one day. Near the end of the film he is recuperating in hospital, with an open ending to the film.
