In Too Deep

North American Premiere

A couple are deeply grieving the death of their young daughter in their own ways, but the father’s obsession with memories of her is becoming dangerous. This is a brooding, heavy drama about how far someone could go and how twisted they could become instead of confronting the pain of loss. It’s a fascinating character study about two people who are so hollow and broken-hearted that they abandon all ethical virtues, a reality where advanced technology enables someone to go further into dark places than you ever expect. Terrific performances from Academy Award Winner Rachel Shenton and Olivier Award Nominee Stephen Wight, who are so adept at manifesting grief and suffering that their characters mental and moral deterioration doesn’t come as a total shock. But it’s still frightening!
