Jonathan Zhang is an emerging filmmaker, born in Sydney and living in London, whose cross-cultural upbringing between Sydney and Shanghai fuels his interest in self-identity. Goodbye, Fishies (2025), his AFTRS graduation short, is his directing debut ahead of a slate of projects currently in development that blend emotionally authentic stories with innovative forms.
