Guil Sela is a filmmaker and photographer born in 1996. His first short film was The Olympic Flame (2023), followed by Santa Maria Kyoko (2023), which was presented at Côté Court. Montsouris Park won the Leitz Cine Prize at the 2024 Semaine de la Critique, and his newest short, No Skate!, was presented at the 2025 Semaine de la Critique. He is currently writing his debut feature film, Life is a Beach!, which explores the irony of tragic current events with humour and melancholy.
