Solara Thanh Bình Đặng is a writer, director, and curious human being who lives with her cat Mei Mei on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations (“Vancouver”). Her family comes from the coastal cities of Nha Trang and Hong Kong, connecting her deeply with bodies of water and the natural world. She is interested in sinking her teeth into the strange and profound fruits of the past, present, and future.
