David is currently the Vice President of Operations for the Martini Film Studios in Langley, British Columbia. Prior to that, David was the inaugural Film Commissioner for the City of Vancouver, North America’s 3rd largest production centre. Before moving to Vancouver, he ran the Film Commission services for Film London, in the U.K.
David was formerly the CEO of Open House Films in the UK, a consultancy partnership specializing in developing Film Commissions and Media Development agencies at City, Regional and State levels in Europe, Africa, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
David has served as a Film Commissioner for over 16 years in various cities and regions around the world, including London – UK, Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates and Vancouver – Canada. David has also served on the board of non-profit organisations in the media and arts sectors, including film festivals in the UK.
