During the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Industry Days strengthens the creative and economic ecosystem surrounding filmmakers and screen storytellers by fostering meaningful connections across local, national, and international networks.
With three key components that run transversally across our programming — film/TV, music, and immersive experiences — Industry initiatives speak to the full breadth of contemporary screen-based storytelling. Through professional development opportunities and programs such as the VIFF Business Hub, Amp, and Signals, Industry supports practitioners in expanding their creative capacity, navigating new opportunities, and developing sustainable careers through curated market pathways.
By bridging talent with collaborators, mentors, and decision makers, we help build an equitable, innovative, and globally connected film sector rooted in British Columbia and Western Canada.
