Intimate Moments: Short Films by Brendan Prost

Book Now Book Now

This National Canadian Film Day, you can immerse yourself in the bittersweet, emotionally-charged short films of Brendan Prost, and maybe participate in his next feature film at the same time. A former child actor and graduate of SFU (with a masters from UBC), Brendan has written and directed four no-budget features and a dozen shorts, six of which we will be sharing in this program. Besides introducing the films and taking questions from the audience, Brendan will also be filming proceedings for his next feature, a self-reflexive hybrid documentary titled The Performance of a Lifetime.—

Brendan’s short films reflect the yearning and instability of contemporary life. They are vignettes of loneliness, desire and fleeting human connection.
