Be With Me is the debut cinema feature by director Hwarng Wern-ying and tells the story of a woman at a crossroads in life who makes the decision to return to Chiayi County to take care of her ailing father under the guidance of a Taoist deity. The spiritual and emotional journey of the woman is told over three time periods as she reminisces about her late grandfather, who was the first to show her the way of the world.
