Night Shift

Turno Nocturno

The night shift clerk at a sex hotel, suffering from narcolepsy, is faced with a night when things are unusually busy and housekeeping finds a gun in room 6. This is an offbeat dark comedic drama about trying to cope in the face of overwhelming challenges. The film is a brilliant example of economic filmmaking, all shot in one room it masterfully uses production design, different lighting and camera angles to create a multi-spacial environment. The deadpan performance by the lead actor is brilliant. Add absolutely professional direction, production and a captivating who-did-what-when script and mix well. In this surreal world full of quirky characters in a dingy Buenos Aires motel a surprise find leads to a hilarious investigation and unlikely heroes.
