As the Director of Photography for the blockbuster hit, Brooks successfully translated the beloved Broadway musical’s vibrant world to the big screen, creating stunning results that have captivated audiences. Reuniting with director Jon M. Chu after their collaboration on In the Heights, Brooks brought her mastery of light and color to the challenge of creating a dazzling and immersive Oz.

Brooks will discuss her creative and technical process, from using symbolic lighting to enhance character arcs to her collaboration with Chu.
