Adenike (Danie Gurira) and Ayodele (Isaach De Bankolé) are a Nigerian couple living in Brooklyn. Following the joyous celebration of their wedding, complications arise from their inability to conceive a child – a problem that devastates their family, defies cultural expectations, and leads Adenike to make a shocking decision that could either save or destroy her family.
