Wojtek Jakubiec
Born in Poland, Wojtek spent his childhood in Algeria before immigrating to Canada. In 2009, he graduated from the Photography Program at Dawson College (Montreal) and received the Patron’s Award for his documentary Stories from Behind the Bell. Since then, Wojtek has worked as an advertising photographer and has produced several photo documentaries. In 2022 he enrolled in the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University with the desire to pursue nonfiction filmmaking.
