Julia Mellen is a Brazilian American filmmaker living in Madrid. Her first film was Yung Lean, Please Be My Yung Love (2018), which was shown at the London Short Film Festival and Metrograph Theater in NYC, among others. Mellen was featured in Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film” and later interviewed alongside Jodie Mack for Metrograph at Home.
