Cristóbal Tapia de Veer
Chilean artist Cristóbal Tapia de Veer is a multiple Emmy- and BAFTA-winning composer, arranger, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Montreal, Canada. With a master’s degree in classical music (specialization in percussion) from the Conservatoire de Musique du Québec, his background blends rigorous classical training with a visionary approach to sound.
Known for his inventive, genre-defying film and television scores, Tapia de Veer gained international acclaim for his distinctive work on cult series such as Utopia (Channel 4), Black Mirror (Netflix), and The White Lotus (HBO), as well as the box-office hit Smile (2022; Paramount) and A24’s erotic thriller Babygirl (2024). His recent projects include the 2026 BBC limited series The Lord of the Flies and the 2026 A24 drama Club Kid.
