Clyde Gates met Gabriel Sanson at INSAS in Brussels in 2012. Together they founded the production company Scum Pictures, through which they produced and directed their first short films. Their work has received international recognition at the Venice International Film Festival, International Film Festival Rotterdam, and European Film Awards. Gates and Sanson are currently developing their first feature film, The Meteorologist, which has received three screenwriting grants (CNC, Île-de-France Region, and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation).
