Blurring the boundaries between the rendered and the real, Display Nature weaves CGI collages, photogrammetry, and live-action footage into a shifting refraction of the landscapes we construct and those that construct us. As cities, screens, and simulations become our primary encounters with the natural world, director Nicolas Gebbe traces the quiet estrangement that emerges when nature is transformed into image, spectacle, and commodity. In these synthetic terrains, perception itself becomes malleable, inviting us to ask whether, in reshaping nature, we have merely revealed our desire to remake ourselves.
