Jessamine Yú Fok

Jessamine Yú Fok is a Chinese-Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto. Her recent narrative work is rooted in magical realism, exploring the spaces left by human separation and belief in the supernatural. Yú Fok has been featured on Nowness Asia and CBC Gem, and was awarded the Prism Prize Lipsett Award in 2024. She is currently developing her debut feature, Somewhere Between, set to be filmed in Asia.
