Elsa Diringer

Elsa Diringer was born in 1982 and started her career as a sound assistant on films by Alain Resnais, Nicole Garcia, René Féret, and Jean-Pierre Améris. She has directed numerous short films within the Tribudom collective, including C’est à Dieu qu’il faut le dire (2011), which screened at many international festivals. In 2012, she received the Best Screenplay Award at the Pantin Festival for L’instant présent, and in 2018 she directed her first feature film, Luna. In addition to her film work, Diringer regularly teaches at La Cinéfabrique, leading workshops in writing and directing.
