Experience the Canadian debut of Los Thuthanaka — the acclaimed American-Bolivian experimental music duo formed by siblings Chuquimamani Condori and Joshu Chuquimia Crampton. Known for bridging the past, present, and future of their Aymara and Pakajaqi heritage, Los Thuthanaka weave spiraling rhythms, ceremonial textures, and psychedelic sounds into a transcendent live AV experience. Their electric guitars, swirling snare drums, and traditional instrumentation transform traditional Andean genres such as huayño, caporal, and kullawada into complex, hyperactive sonic landscapes.
Following a wave of acclaim for their self-titled 2025 debut album, VIFF is proud to bring the Los Thuthanaka to Canada for the first time, introducing new audiences to the duo’s totally unique and mind-expanding sounds.

Los Thuthanaka
Founded by siblings Chuquimamani-Condori and Joshua Chuquimia Crampton, Los Thuthanaka bridge the past, present, and future of the mighty Pakajaqui Nation through a potent blend of Andean rhythms, Aymara composition, and psychedelic rock. Guitars scorch through sampled patterns like a popular fair colliding with a rave’s sound system, their sound breaking in and out like a drifting radio signal. As a listener, you are pulled into a hazy, distorted déjà vu, where cyclical beats create a sense of continuity, fluidity, and ever-expanding musical motion.
