Christian Avileìs is a director, writer, and composer. He attended the Film and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC), and his graduation short, Daydreaming So Vividly About Our Spanish Holidays (2022), was nominated as Best Short Film at the European Film Awards and awarded with a Short of the Year 2023 recognition by Short Film Conference. Avileìs took part in the 2024 Locarno Filmmakers Academy. His newest short, Stallion and a Crystal Ball, premiered at Berlinale Shorts 2026.
