Samantha Chater
Samantha Chater is a Toronto-based filmmaker and writer. She was co-writer and associate producer on the Canadian feature Matt and Mara (2024), which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and screened at TIFF. She has also worked in publicity for independent films in Canada for over a decade. With You (2026), a short film shot on 16mm and structured around archival correspondence, is her first film as director.
