Jana Rankov is a Bulgarian-German projectionist, programmer, and filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC. Working primarily at cinemas and film festivals, Jana is eager to keep expanding her film practice. She dreams of making projection accessible to anyone who wants to learn, as well as opening a movie theater. She sees cinema as a portal that connects across experiences.
