Like Moths to Light

North American Premiere

Investigating the sacred space of dreams, César-winning filmmaker Gala Hernández López (+10K, MODES 2025) returns to VIFF with a prescient and downright surreal take on a fictional startup: Prophetic, which poses a provocative yet plausible future laden with neurocapitalist ambitions. If the goal is to control our dreams, what do our dreams see when they look back at us?
